Video surveillance
CIBEK integrates the MOBOTIX video cameras into the building control, so that camera images of doors or garden areas can be viewed from the central computer.
For years, MOBOTIX has been producing only megapixel cameras and is considered to be a world leader in high-definition video systems. MOBOTIX cameras are used in various applications, for example, in the surveillance, as a webcam or in communications.
The IP camera is integrated into the IP network and transmits data via the Internet Protocol (IP). Thus, no special lines for data transmission and interfaces to communicate with, for example, a PC are required. The power is also supplied via the network cable (Power over Ethernet - PoE).
While in the analog camera technology generally the resolutions of up to 0.4 megapixels can be achieved, the digital image processing of the MOBOTIX cameras enables a resolution of 3.1 megapixels. This allows for extremely detailed images, and thus makes possible the digital zooming in the camera image. There are no moving parts required in the cameras. This enables wear-free operation.
MOBOTIX cameras offer a variety of features and image settings that allows a wide range of applications.
In addition, different camera models are available with different properties to choose from.
Thus, for example, depending on the mounting position of the camera, the use of one or two lenses or the alignment of the lenses in the camera, the perfect match can be chosen.
The use of special night lenses allows to produce a high-quality camera image even in dimlight. For optimum illumination in the dark infrared radiators are used. They generate light invisible to the human eye.
In the decentralized MOBOTIX concept each camera has a high performance computer and, if necessary, a digital long-term flash memory (Micro SD card) for several days of recording. The complete image editing process runs inside of the camera. The remote terminal (e.g PC) is used only for pure viewing of recordings, or for the benefit of the camera functions, but not for analysis or recording. This reduces inter alia, the necessary transmission bandwidth.
