German Red Cross of Kaiserslautern involved in TSA project
Source: Wochenblatt Kaiserslautern, edition 02.02.2011 The German Red Cross (DRK) of Kaiserslautern is taking part in the research project "Technical and social assistance system for comfort, safety, health and communication in the inner-city district" (TSA). Besides the University of Kaiserslautern, the Non-Commercial Cooperative of Speyer, the Workers' Welfare Organization (Arbeiterwohlfahrt) of Palatinate and CIBEK are involved.
The DRK of Kaiserslautern is a leading provider for emergency services, home care and other services for elderly people in the region. The organization is seeking knowledge especially regarding the development of its own home emergency call system. With the PAUL touch screen computer the old button system will be modernized and technically expanded. |
